Below is information about assessment tools available for download to complete in a hard copy version. All assessments are subject to these Terms of Use.

  • Infant Eating Assessment Tool (InfantEAT)

    What it does:

    Measures symptoms of problematic breast- and/or bottle-feeding. The InfantEAT is shorter than the NeoEAT and there is one tool that can be used with all infants whether they are breastfeeeding, bottle-feeding, or doing a combination of breastfeeding and bottle-feeding.

    What age:

    Birth to 1 year (reference values currently only available to 7 months)

  • Neonatal Eating Assessment Tool (NeoEAT)

    What it does:

    Measures symptoms of problematic breast- and/or bottle-feeding. There are three different versions of the NeoEAT and each is about twice as long as the InfantEAT.

    What age:

    Birth to 7 months

  • Gastrointestinal and Gastroesophageal Reflux (GIGER) Scale

    What it does:

    Measures symptoms of gastrointestinal distress and gastroesophageal reflux.

    What age:

    Birth to 2 years

  • Pediatric Eating Assessment Tool (PediEAT)

    What it does:

    Measures symptoms of problematic feeding.

    What age:

    6 months to 7 years

  • Child Oral and Motor Proficiency Scale (ChOMPS)

    What it does:

    Measures eating, drinking, and related skills.

    What age:

    6 months to 7 years

  • Feeding Impact Scales

    What it does:

    Measures the impact of feeding on the parent and family.

    What age:

    Birth to 18 years

  • Family Management of Feeding (FaMM Feed)

    What it does:

    Measures how families manage their child’s feeding difficulty.

    What age:

    Birth to 18 years
